Ammonia Awareness Toolbox Talk

Ammonia is a compound of nitrogen and hydrogen with the formula NH3 and is normally encountered as a gas with a characteristic pungent odour. Ammonia, as used commercially, is often called Anhydrous Ammonia, emphasising the absence of water in the material. Because of its many uses, ammonia is one of the most highly produced inorganic chemicals.

The ESS Ltd. Ammonia Awarenes Training course is designed for all personnel who may come into contact with Anhydrous Ammonia (R717) Refrigerant in the work place. It is designed to make all participants aware of the risks and safety procedures involved in handling R717 (Anhydrous Ammonia).

This course is also available as an on-site customised course
