Course Description

This course introduces the practice of criticality assessment as it is commonly used in developing Asset Management programmes. By the end of the course the participants should understand why criticality is used, what it is used for, be able to design and apply a criticality process suitable for their own organisation and be aware of some of the controversy surrounding this topic.

Participant Profile

This Criticality in Asset Management Course is suitable for all levels of people working in Maintenance & Facilities Management organisations. Particularly suitable for Reliability Engineers or equivalent who will be expected to develop individual Equipment Care Programmes. It is also useful for Maintenance Schedulers or Supervisors who have to organise the scheduling & execution of Asset Care activities and balance priorities. Finally it is suitable for those liaison personnel in customer departments such as production managers, lab supervisors & facility managers who work closely with the maintenance departments in operating the equipment, plant or facility and releasing it for care activities and who would be requested to join criticality assessment teams for their areas.
