Lean Maintenance

Is Lean Maintenance your missing Link?

If European manufacturers are to prosper, they need to deliver competitiveness by unlocking the full potential of their productive capacity. The drive and focus on most of our Operations & Manufacturing Processes is highlighting what we have probably always known: the concept of Lean Manufacturing is only as good as the Reliability & Predictability of our strategic Manufacturing Assets.

This 1 day workshop sets out the role of Maintenance in supporting the delivery of Lean Manufacturing . To date most of the texts on the subject underestimate the role which Maintenance can play in securing higher levels of customer added value. This workshop provides an insight into how leading organisations use the expertise of their Maintenance & Engineering functions to release new value from their operations by:
  1. Targeting weak technology to address the causes of management fire fighting
  2. Leading the drive to deliver higher levels of customer value added
  3. Rapid delivery of new product and service offerings
  4. Provide a bridge between today’s transformation processes & tomorrow’s customer
  5. Winning operational capability

  1. To describe the operational excellence route map followed by exemplar companies and within that, the role which Maintenance plays in delivering world class performance
  2. To set out what can be done within the Maintenance department to convince those organisations that do not yet understand the value adding role which maintenance can play
  3. To provide practical guidance from experienced practitioners on issues such as: *How to create the time to transform the Maintenance role and *How to stay in control of costs and raise the competence of your maintenance team to meet the challenge:
