We are delighted to once again sponsor the MEETA Awards and Conference, 25th and 26th November 2020. This year more than ever is a time to celebrate our achievements and wins and come together as Maintenance, Asset Management and Reliability Professionals to engage virtually.

In recent years, strategists have tagged their improvement programmes as some variant of “2020 Vision“.  The aspiration to perfect vision now rings hollow as we deal with Covid-19 and its impacts – all the worse for being unannounced. Right now we must be mindful in, and of, the present. But the present begets the future, and so we should not devalue foresight and vision. We must look forward, and we must do it better.

In a recent Engineers Ireland survey, Asset Life Management, Reliability Engineering and Predictive Maintenance were the top three areas of interest for Meeta stakeholders. Time is a basic function in all of these endeavors – past history to current performance to future trending. As gatekeepers for our assets, we must use all our senses wisely to inform the future vision.

Programme

Four sessions spread over two days, one session being dedicated to our annual Project Awards and an excellent line-up of speakers with relevant and engaging topics. The conference will be opened by Maurice Buckley, President of Engineers Ireland, and includes an excellent line up of keynote speakers: Mark Gallagher, Formula 1 Executive & Broadcaster, James Gorry of James Gorry Health and Safety, Fergus McCormick, Conservation Architect, OPW and David Grimes, Author and Physicist.
