Intensive F-Gas is aimed at technicians dealing with refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment on a regular basis but due to the nature of their work, do not have exposure to all of the elements necessary to complete the F Gas assessment.

The training is a blend of theory, practical and sample assessments over four days.

Candidates will be provided with full course notes. During the practical training days there will be ample opportunity to practise brazing and refrigeration pipework handling techniques as well as fully installing, commissioning and decommissioning a working piece of refrigeration equipment.

Candidates will also be given full back up during the course consisting of both telephone and email support.

Participant Profile

Trainer Profile

The trainer has worked extensively in the Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning sector. During his career he has worked as a distributor, a Technical Support Manager for an Air conditioning manufacturer and as a consultant on a number of large projects. He also provides training in Ireland and the UK as well as providing Consultancy on the Irish AC Market to a number of UK Clients. He is a member of the International Institute of Refrigeration (an Intergovernmental advisory body) and The International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration.
