Cost-effective maintenance has to be planned – it doesn’t happen by chance and this requires a cost-effective strategy which is constantly kept up to date.
Cost-effective maintenance has to be planned – it doesn’t happen by chance and this requires a cost-effective strategy which is constantly kept up to date.
This is the 14th year that ESS has run its highly popular Master Class in Maintenance Management. The course emphasises the importance that continuous improvement plays in ensuring that maintenance remains cost-effective in a constantly changing business environment. The course is applicable for anyone with challenging maintenance needs: it applies to all sectors whether in private or public ownership; the topics are relevant to both asset owners and service providers.
So what is new this year?
- We have revamped the course materials to take into account the latest tools, techniques and business needs.
- We now provide on-line support resources and improvement templates for delegates.
- During the course itself we have increased the amount of time devoted to workshops considering case study examples in order to reinforce the key points.
The course itself is an in-depth treatment of the major factors that have to be considered in order to produce a tailored maintenance strategy and the pitfalls to be avoided. It deals with the choices and issues that are involved in achieving this right from project inception through to commissioning and operation of plant and equipment. A well-proven template for developing a maintenance strategy is introduced. Case study examples are then presented showing how this template has been applied successfully across a variety of different industrial organisations.
Module 1: Deciding Maintenance & Inspection Tasks (12th – 14th February 2019)
