  • Unit 2: System Components
  • Unit 3: Refrigeration Systems
  • Unit 4: Refrigeration Properties
  • Unit 5: Controls
  • Unit 6: Health and Safety

Course Delivery:

The course will be delivered over 5 days with the instructor, including both theory & practical course work & examinations.

About this award

QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) is responsible for the development and review of the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). QQI was established to combine the standalone agencies of FETAC, HETAC and NQAI. This means that awards previously offered as FETAC Level 6 have been revised, redesigned and are now QQI Level 6 awards.

ESS partner with Enviro Safety Consultancy who are registered to offer programmes leading to QQI awards under the NFQ.

Assessment

This course will be run as a QQI Certified course at Level 6. Delegates who wish to achieve a QQI component certificate will be assessed on;

  • Examination (Practical)
  • Examination (Theory Based)
  • Skills Demonstration

The QQI Assessment periods are January, May, August and November. QQI issue certificates within approx. 3-4 months of each assessment period.

Course Cost: €1,450 per Learner(fee includes QQI administration and certification costs of €200)
